This morning, as I was sitting having coffee… contemplating and worshipping, I heard the Lord say clearly “Hidden things are about to be revealed; purpose to be revealed”, so I declared, ‘ hidden things align in Jesus’ name”. Then I heard “DETERMINE YOU’LL DO IT!”
That caught my attention! I knew God was pointing to something in myself I had to address. I know there’ve been times I have hesitated when something was in front of me.
So I looked up the word determine:
De-ter-mine
verb
- to cause (something) to occur in a particular way; be the decisive factor in. Synonyms: control, decide, regulate affect; govern
- ascertain or establish exactly
- firmly decide. Synonyms: resolve, decide, make up ones mind, purpose
God was pressing then”Preparation Button” on the inside of me….. we are usually very close to the thing we’ve been believing for, standing for….when the enemy comes in to try and discourage and break confidence in the Lord. But this was was the Lord saying “get ready’!!!
When we “determine” to do something we actively awaken ourselves to participate with God’s purpose and will…….even before it’s revealed. By faith in Him, and His plan, His way of doing a thing. As we do this, we begin to agree with what heaven is saying (about us, about process, timing, about who God is for us in these moments). Because of that, we begin to make choices that align us to be positioned to allow the Spirit of God to transform us, to order our steps.
God will begin to deposit in us His vision as we align with Him; as we set our gaze on Him, as we purpose to do His will; as we begin to ask Him to let us see, as He sees.
During this process, the Holy Spirit teaches us how to go deeper in our friendship with the Lord. We decrease, and He increases. Through this, we begin to commit ourselves and vision to the lord, so He can establish it. (I’d rather the Lord establish it than me; it will stand then!)
Note: you don’t have to understand everything right now. He will reveal it! Just step in faith! Psalm 37:1-8…… awesome words to pray and establish your way and your trust in Him and the process!
The Lord uses everything in our every day to prepare us, to align us closer with Him, to process out the things that would hinder us from moving forward, and to impart more of Himself and what we need to be prepared. Process is an opportunity to be transformed more into His likeness and image, so others can see Him on the earth.
I’m “Determining NOW I’ll Do It!”, so when the purpose and plan begins to manifest, I’ll be ready to step into that prophetic destiny, that calling, that purpose!
For His promises for us ARE…..YES and AMEN!!!
I pray for you today Eph. 1:18-20 Lord, I ask that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, theFather of Glory, would give you the Spirit of Wisdom, revelation and the knowledge of Him. That the eyes of your understanding would be opened, that you would know the hope of His calling, and what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.
